An eMAR (electronic Medication Administration Record) replaces the paper MAR sheet: it is the digital record of every scheduled dose — given, refused, or missed — for each client, kept accurate by the caregivers administering the medications.

Each medication is added with a photo of its actual label and a schedule. At administration time the caregiver sees the label photo and verifies against the bottle in hand before recording Given, Refused, or Not taken — a verify-before-give step on every dose. Missed doses raise alerts on the agency dashboard.
