CareGeo for Utah

Utah personal care agency software, with R432-725 built in

A Utah personal care agency answers to R432-725 for every client and every aide: the signed service agreement, the client rights, DACS screening, TB tests, on-site evaluations and in-service hours. CareGeo keeps all of it next to scheduling, GPS clock-in and payroll, in one HIPAA-compliant app, and points each requirement to the rule.

What software do Utah personal care agencies use for R432-725?

CareGeo has a Utah pack built on Utah Admin. Code R432-725, the Personal Care Agency rule. Each client gets a record checklist mapped to R432-725-13, an admission packet the client or their representative e-signs (the service agreement with charges and the 30 days' notice of rate changes, all nine client rights in the rule's wording, and emergency contacts), the licensed professional's assessment that needs fit personal care (R432-725-9), and discharge with the date and one of the rule's five reasons. Each requirement links to the rule text.

Does CareGeo track Utah caregiver requirements like DACS and TB tests?

Yes. The caregiver file follows R432-725 and R432-35: DACS background screening (with an amber warning if you schedule someone before clearance), a TB test within 14 days of hire, first aid, the health screening, licenses with the 45-day window for new hires, orientation topics, the on-site evaluation in the client's home every 6 months, and 6 hours of in-service training a year, prorated from the hire date, including the yearly abuse-reporting topic. Warnings never block your work; they show the rule and record who confirmed.

Does CareGeo support Utah Medicaid EVV?

Every visit is recorded with GPS clock-in and clock-out, which covers the Cures Act EVV data. Utah Medicaid (R414-522) asks each provider to send EVV records in the state's LTSS EVV file format; CareGeo does not create that file yet. Private-pay agencies are not affected. If you bill Utah Medicaid, tell us and we will tell you honestly where that stands for your agency.

Is CareGeo for Utah home health agencies or DSPD providers?

The Utah pack is for personal care agencies licensed under R432-725. Home health agencies (R432-700) and DSPD providers have different rules and are not in the pack today. Scheduling, GPS clock-in, payroll, mileage and medications work for any agency.

What works for a Utah agency on day one?

Scheduling, GPS clock-in and clock-out from the free caregiver app, visit notes, medication records, mileage, timesheets and payroll exports, private-pay billing, the family portal and HIPAA-compliant messaging. Choose Utah as your state when you sign up and the Utah pack is turned on.

Is CareGeo HIPAA compliant?

Yes. Client information is encrypted at rest and in transit, access is by role, and a Business Associate Agreement is included on every plan.
