The 21st Century Cures Act requires electronic verification of: (1) the type of service performed, (2) the individual receiving the service, (3) the date of service, (4) the location of service delivery, (5) the individual providing the service, and (6) the time the service begins and ends. CareGeo captures all six on every visit automatically.

With GPS plus a per-client geofence: the caregiver can only clock in and out inside a boundary around the client's home, and the punch stores its coordinates and GPS accuracy. That is stronger evidence than telephony or self-reported location.

When something about a visit is questionable — clock-in outside the geofence, duplicate GPS coordinates across punches, unusual distance — CareGeo raises a flag on the agency dashboard. Flags are reviewed and approved or corrected before the visit feeds billing and payroll, so problems are caught before a payer or surveyor finds them.

The caregiver app is offline-first: EVV punches record locally with coordinates and timestamps, then sync when connectivity returns. Rural visits stay verifiable.
